Ziccy, also known as ZICRONA, is a visual artist, creative director, and street gore fanatic based in Chicago, IL.

Through studies of anatomy and the examination of found specimens, the artist creates provocative visual narratives inspired by their experiences. Combining real subjects with freakish ideas to produce phantasmagorical works that explore themes of queer identity, bodily autonomy, and their grotesque indulgences. Their work delves into the darker, more surreal aspects of their identity and the multifaceted relationship between gender, sexuality, and the physical form.

Ziccy now has more than six years of experience working as a curator, muralist, illustrator, creative director, art handler, and preparator in Chicago. Their work has been featured in galleries, shops, and alleyways throughout Chicago, New York, Rome, California, and more.
